APPLICATION: A range of oil and gas fired cabinet heaters purpose designed for external location and available in both vertical and horizontal configuration. External cabinet heaters are suitable for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications where space and/or environmental criteria inhibit internal siting.

BUILDING REGULATIONS & ECA APPROVAL: All Benson cabinet heaters are designed with fuel efficiency in mind and meet the efficiency requirements of Part L2B of current Building Regulations as well as applicable CE legislation. Additionally most models within the range have been rated to meet the Governments energy efficiency criteria for inclusion into the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme.

CONSTRUCTION: The casing is robotically formed from electro zinc coated steel sheet and finished with a durable stove enamelled epoxy polyester powder paint to provide an IP44 rated weatherproof monocoque. The combustion chamber/heat exchanger is formed and welded from stainless steel as standard.

BURNER: High efficiency forced draught gas or pressure jet suitable for operation on 35 second light fuel oil, kerosene (most models), natural gas or lpg propane and complete with flame monitoring safety controls.

CONTROLS: Heaters are ready for automatic operation being complete with time and temperature controls. Benson offers two control options the CP2 incorporating a digital time switch, mechanical day temperature and frost protection thermostats. Alternatively heaters may be specified with a fully optimised CP4 control which includes a secure entry code facility, temperature dependent start time, digital time switch with override facility, electronic day thermostat and frost protection thermostat. Fully optimised control obligatory for ECA applications. Both options provide fan only operation for summer air movement.

AIR DISTRIBUTION: Air movement is effected via a powerful centrifugal fan set. Each heater is provided with a duct spigot type outlet whilst return air can be re-circulatory via a duct spigot or fresh air via a weather-louvre.

TESTING: Every heater is individually inspected, test fired and safety function tested prior to despatch.
