APPLICATION: A range of suspended oil fired Horticultural unit heaters with clean aesthetic lines and designed for off-floor- mounting providing an ideal solution where space is at a premium. Suitable for showrooms, factories, workshops, warehouses, greenhouses and many other industrial and commercial premises.

BUILDING REGULATIONS & ECA APPROVAL: All Benson OUH2 gas unit heaters are designed with fuel efficiency in mind and meet the efficiency requirements of Part L2B of current Building Regulations as well as applicable CE legislation. Additionally certain models within the range have been rated to meet the Governments energy efficiency criteria for inclusion into the Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme.

CONSTRUCTION: The casing is robotically formed from galvanised sheet whilst the combustion chamber/heat exchanger is formed and welded from 304/316 stainless and grade 43A steel.

BURNER: : High efficiency forced draught gas or pressure jet suitable for operation on 35 second light fuel oil or kerosene and complete with flame monitoring safety controls.

CONTROLS: Heaters are ready for automatic operation after the simple connection of time and temperature controls. Benson offers two control options the CP2 incorporating a digital time switch, mechanical day temperature and frost protection thermostats. Alternatively heaters may be specified with a fully optimised CP4 control which includes a secure entry code facility, temperature dependent start time, digital time switch with override facility, electronic day thermostat and frost protection thermostat. Fully optimised control obligatory for ECA applications. Both options provide fan only operation for summer air movement.

AIR DISTRIBUTION: OUHA Horticultural heaters are fitted with powerful axial fans and discharge warm air through an outlet grill, which is complete with adjustable horizontal louvres whilst OUHC heaters are designed for ducted applications and are fitted with centrifugal fans.

TESTING: Every heater is individually inspected, test fired and safety function tested prior to despatch.
